theyre a liittle on the heavy side, screaming and stuff.. but the singer, Chino, has a beautiful voice. it can go from a high pitched cry to a steady soft tone rivaled only by the singer from Tool


really. .check out the song Change, Digital Bath and RX Queen. those are the more popular ones.. of course theres better but theyre a little more obscure to a new listener

now really. try at least the songs i mentioned.. it CAN be quite hard to "get" at first.. his voice can seem whiney, and strange.. but the precision, god ... its amazing really. the notes and the way he related them to eachother.. just the subtle changes ... i could listen to it forever. actually my mp3 cd full of their songs has been in constant rotation sinse i discovered them 2 months ago... they came out in like, 1995 but didnt really catch on then, cept for a few singles. they were ahead of their time but alas!

Phial, on a more related note, MuchMusic showed the new Minerva video.

I heard the song. I have to admit, it is psychydelic. His voice is damn weird. He seems to slowly say the words, but in such a way it's unexplanable.

I tried to DL it but the damn CD protection rips were there and there were many on Kazaa who claimed to have a full uncut one, but it was still fake.

Oh well. Guess you did have someone here who listed to them! They were on tour with Metallica, Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park here in Canada.

Snow Dogs was Cuba Gooding Jr. (PS, I heard a sequel is coming, everyone RUN!!!!) Sisqo or however he decided to represent his name (His real name is probably Larry Brett Summers or something normal like that, and if you ask Dr. Dre or Coolio or Snoop Doggy Dog or Puffy or P-Diddy or whatever he is this week, you can't have a normal name in rap. Anyway, even though I hate rap, it seemed like a cool concept, you know, trying to get girls to wear thongs, and I figured the video would be cool, with a bunch of girls in thongs, which it had, but this fruitcake was running around doing flips and stuff and showing off his athletic ability. LAME. We need more videos like Sir Mix-A-Lot used to make. Yee-haw!!!

that song isnt them at thier best... try the song "Bored" or "Change" or "Elite" or "Root" or "Mascara"

some are good, some arent so good. i like My OwnSummer but it all depends on what you like i guess =)

I listen to a whole mix actually, it's really whatever I hear and catches my ear/ gets stuck in my head. I have stuff from limp bizkit to things like bob marley or dave mathews band, etc. Just depends if it catches my ear (I don't pay attention to the words in songs, rather the sound it produces when we mix the melody and voice)

i listen to a variety too.. but Deftones have infatuated me lately

i love marley.. "Redemption Song.. Get up, Stand up LOL" and Hendrix and Zeppelin .. everything just about that is good. good as in real music. not industry produced garbage

dave matthews rocks. i love the "All Along the Watch Tower" cover he did
