Feltzer is the covertible with the blocky front end (differs from the
Blade), GTA's Patriot is the Humvee H1. The Feltzer should be available in
Easter Basin at certain times in San Fierro, I can't remember for sure
about the Humvee. I thought that it shows up in San Fierro somewhat rarely
at certain spots, but is also available at the Restriced Area near the
tanks almost all the time. Not sure you want to risk the 5 star wanted
level though, unless there's a cheat to get past that?

The patriot can be found at the chemical plant that you can see from
inside the airport. There's a huge car parking area in there and it is
available while you need it. If it isn't there drive away and come
back and it should spawn. The bad news is you have only nearly
completed the first of three collections of vehicles )

Forgot to mention; The Feltzer appears quite commonly during the Valet
missions at the Vank Hoff hotel in San Fierro.
It's possible to re-do them if you've already done all 7 levels needed,
just step into the red glow wearing the Valet uniform you can get from
any of your safehouses that have wardrobes.

If you don't mind waiting until Las Venturas is unlocked, a Feltzer is
the car used in 'Fender Ketchup'. Simply fail the mission (No spoilers)
and the car is yours.
The Patriot is the Humvee looking military vehicle and is pretty common
in most places. You can find one parked in the car park of the Easter
Basin chemical plant, which is kind of to the east of San Fierro
airport.
Also in San Fierro, head down to the naval base in San Fierro. That's
the large gated area with an aircraft carrier moored. The Patriot can
be found parked near the water next to the carrier, but be aware of the
instant 5 stars you receive just for entering the base. Be sure to pack
some armour and you should be OK, there's a Pay'n Spray not far off
from there plus the Patriot is *great* at climbing hills (Far better
than the black FBI Ranchers are that will no doubt be on your tail).
One is also available from the chemical plant in the far
north-east of Las Venturas, but you need a military vehicle to get in
to start with (Or a helicopter - go to Verdant Meadows airstrip).

As the PC and XBox versions have a larger "field" of memory I'd suggest
blowing it up if it's locked, then the game is more likely to spawn one
that's unlocked.

The first few times I went on the rampage in SA wayyyy back in November
I kept on remembering that lines from The Simpsons with Sideshow Bob's
brother Cecil;
"You may feel a slight ringing in your ears, but fortunately you won't
be anywhere near them".
Nothing I like more than a *really* pretty explosion, and I've just
linked up my PS2 to my stereo for that surround-sound feel. I'd suggest
to anyone to try it, I never realised just how good the sound engine is
in SA when compared to GTAIII and VC.

Defaulting to TV speakers just because they're there is a bad idea, I
strongly concur. Anything sounds better with the widest bandwidth
speakers/system one can afford, depending on the room of course.
IMO Each game in the series has its pro's and con's when referring to
game sounds.
Two main gripes with SA: the FBI Rancher sounds like a Sentinel a now..
and why does thunder sound like an explosion?

Forgot to mention; it's especially good with Rockstar games. SA,
Manhunt and Red Dead Revolver all have atmospheric sound systems. The
closer you are to something, the better you can hear it.
Manhunt was pretty spooky the first time around with the curtains drawn
and the volume turned up. As quite a few people have stated before,
it's Rockstar's tradition of making games that put you firmly as the
player (ie: "In The Game" ), far better than Quake or Doom ever did
anyway.

GTAIII had much more innovative things like echoes in the tunnels, or
even when standing under a ledge. VC was missing quite a few of these
environmental sounds for some reason, but not so much as to detract
from the gameplay.

Every time I hear that I have a quick scout around with the camera just
in case I can get a shot of a plane flying too low and crashing.
The amount of times I'e seen this with the CPU controlled Rustler on
top of Mount Chiliad is unreal. It has me in stitches everytime )
