yup, as are most bloody vehicles. Yer car/bike or whatever touches wet
grass and you're doing a waltz. I always avoid driving school in the
rain for the last mission, and any other where there's a chase or
damage to the car can cost

I COULD NOT win this mission. Try after try. Got at most two of the
guys, but I would spin out, etc. On my last try I got one suitcase
before the jump, made the jump OK, looked for the dudes . . . gone.
Then I noticed three green triangles IN the river. All three blew the
jump and drowned. I went in the water, dove on the suitcases (Herself
followed me in, bitching the whole time), got all three, returned for
the first, and completed the mission.

Funnily enough, the first time I passed the near-impossible Burn and
Lap was in the rain. Once you compensate for over and under steer you
can pull off some really neat powerslides without losing much speed.

The first time I did the Pilot school was difficult though, as I was
unloucky enough to get a sandstorm which badly affected the chopper
controls. I only thought the game did this at great heights, but the
amount of times I was blown into the side of a cliff was kind of
annoying (Especially with the Leviathan, Raindance and Cargobob).

Cheers,
Rob

And don't forget - you don't HAVE to use the quad bike...... just take a
faster bike to the mission. Get off the quad bike and onto the bike you
originally brought....

Catalina does join on what whatver bike you grab......
