Same price from my retailer.
XFX brand for the 5900, unknown brand for the ati card
but it has the 256 bit memory bus for sure.

Loath to go back to an Ati after my trusty ti4200
but what do you Guys reckon?

Cheers
Ted

I went to a 9800Pro (128meg) from a ti4200, and will never go back.

The ati is definitly faster... 9800 Pro is a nice card... nice fast :)

The 5900XT has one pro AGAINST the 9600Pro/xt 5700 Ultra..but will lose from
the 9800 Pro!

I have them both.

Very little difference in use !

The 9800pro gets 300 point better in 3dmark03 (about 6000), but you cant see
the difference in games..
That is my experience..(p4 3.0, 1gb ddr400 ram)
