file and print sharing

Is it still possible for someone to hack into your computer with file and print sharing disabled. If so can someone recommend a good firewall that is easy to configure and also good for a gaming server.

theoretically I suppose they could .. zone alarm is free and pretty decent for a firewall or get yourself a router to stealth the whole system
