Doom3 settings and thank you

I just upgraded to a geforce 5900 overclocked video card, and a funny
thing started to happen. The shading on the faces looks like they are
half white/half black. Does anyone know which setting to tweak to fix
this?

I appreciate everyone's input last week. A more expensive board would
likely been overkill or wasted. My frame rate double and doom3 is
running fine. Someone told me there is a site to tweak setting for even
higher frame rates!! Can't wait to replay kotor to see if there are any
changes.
