Hi,

I've just looked through the XP events viewer (in admin tools) and have an
error occurring in nview_info at every start up.

The text of the error is:

"The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( nview_info ) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or
message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be
able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and
Support for details. The following information is part of the event: NVIEW :
explorer: WAIT_TIMEOUT, while waiting for a read to clear - resetting read
event"

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks,

Daz

So? Is your system running all right?

Do you even run dual displays? If not, disable nView altogether through
services.msc or msconfig.
