Hi,
I am a newbie to pocket pc and have as couple of questions. I have recently
purchased an iPAQ 1940 but have noticed that after initially turning it on
it turns itself off after about 10-15 seconds. This occurs after a period of
non use eg overnight. After this initial start up I can use the 1940 on and
off all day without a problem, any thoughts?
Also when I go to settings-memory-running programmes the programmes that I
have used are still running even though they were closed down individually
using the 'X'. I can close them down from the running programmes screen but
do not want to do this every time. I guess this will have an detrimental
effect also on battery performance.

Tapping on the "x" only minimizes the application. The only way to
close a program is through the memory setting.
