Hi...
I know NOTHING about video cards, so was wondering if someone could give me
some advice. I was wondering if AUS$100 (US$70) was a good price for a
GEFORCE FX 5600XT 128MB DDR 8X video card. I have a SiS 630/730 that came
with my computer a few years ago, and as you can guess it is rather
hopeless. I don't really play many graphic intensive games, but might grab a
copy of Microsoft Flight Sim. Would this card be adequate for something like
that, or say, Sim City or Civilization? And if not, what would you
recommend?
Thank you very much.

I have a FX 5600XT and it's a fairly slow card. I bought it used for $55.00
US. It handles old games pretty well but I wish I would have spent a little
more and bought a regular FX 5600 or a FX 5700. I've had it for a month and
plan to upgrade real soon.

The 5600XT is not listed in the following benchmark, but it is about 1/2-
2/3 as fast as the 5700Ultra, which is the slowest card on the list.
