New ipaq battery life

I have an older 2001 ipaq 3765 and the battery life is horrible. I was
wondering if anyone has upgraded from the 3765 to one of the newer HP
models and whether the battery life is any better.

HP claims 4 to 12 hrs max useage per charge but I really question that.
What is the battery performance with a CF Wi-Fi card?

Thanks.

Batteries have only limited life cycle, so if you have had your Ipaq for a
long time, changing to a new one will improve the situation considerably.

In my experience the battery performance of the newer models, for example
the h4150 or h5550, is still quite bad. Of course this depends on how you
use the device. Bluetooth and WLAN consume the battery to end very fast.
