I have done it. Be careful they had the links on the HP support site messed
up last night and the link was downloading ROM version 1.00.13 instead of
1.10.10

I installed it shortly after the post but I havent been able to tell any
difference (quite un-scientifically though).

I'm confused - the version currently available from the HP web-site is
still 1.00.13. So, where is the correct version? It is, I suppose,
possible that this is the correct file but with an incorrect version
number.

OK I've got it. The correct version is SP27674. Maybe the procedure is
obvious to most people but it wasn't to me!

No, it wasnt all too obvious to me either Jim :)

Im not real sure what HP is thinking. Previous ROM upgrades although
installed didnt show correctly on the iPAQ anyway so maybe they are
continuing this bass ackwards trend ;) The ONLY reason I did the upg is
because of the date on the file.

An 'initial' release.. I think i'll wait a bit
before I rake up my PPC's contents.
Although I seem to have broken my Bluetooth
connection abilities on my 5550.
Looks promising though.
