Am using windows 7 and my front jacky is not working

i upgraded to windows 7 , and now my headpone is not working in my front jack ,,,but it works on the back ,,, and i cant see the realtek audio manager on my task bar as before ...

  1. Hi, make sure the audio jack is properly plugged in, check the wireing, see if it's damaged. Re-install your audio software make sure it's Win 7 either 32 bit or 64. Also do you have a headphone input on your speakers, most speakers offer that option, that's what i use personnaly because you can adjust the volume from your speakers and not going into your audio control..     I would suggest that you do to Realtek's website and download and install their generic drivers for your system. Doing so will re-enable the Realtek configuration utility you had before including your front panel settings.

    Go here:

    Select the High Definition Audio Codecs (Software) link and proceed. If you don't have a HD audio chipset, use the AC'97 link.
