Probably a stupid question but:
Is an FX(xyz) different from a GeForce(xyz)?
Also, what is the difference from a 6800 Ultra & Ultra Extreme?
I have a BFG Geforce 6800 Ultra OC (upgraded from a GeforceTI4400)
TIA
MJ

As in, for example, an FX 5900 compared to a GeForce 5900? They're the same
card, just a lazy naming scheme is used which causes confusion. The card
is a GeForce FX 5900. Just to clarify; the FX cards are a series of GeForce
cards. There's the GeForce 4 series ( e.g., MX420 / MX440 / 4200 / 4600 /
4800 ), the GeForce 5 series (e.g., FX 5200 / FX 5700 FX 5900 ), and the
GeForce 6 series ( 6600 / 6800 ).

I actually never knew there was an Ultra Extreme version. I'll look for it
later. The card will be clocked higher to achieve better performance, and
it might have faster graphics memory.
