For XMAS present to 7 yr old chess player. My son like chess and pc games so I thought chess on a pc might be good. What are your suggestions. Thanks Everyone :)

There is Hoyle Majestic Chess which came out over the summer. I haven't played it personally, but it's one you could look into.

Whatever version Chessmaster is up to (8? 10? 34?) is usually good.

Hoyle Majestic Chess got a very good review.

Too much agreement is like too many fat guys in a hottub; it's still relaxing, but you end up with some nasty broth.
