Trouble with GW 710XL Media Bay

I have a GW710XL with the media bay that accepts all sorts of flash
cards. I have had success with CF and Sony Memory Sticks. I have had
only failures with SD cards. I thought I had a bad drive so GW
replaced it under warranty and I have the same problem with the new
one.

I've tried a few different SD cards, and I get write errors and
sometimes it cant see files that other devices can see on the card. I
have used the cards in other devices like a DELL PC and they work fine
in my Panasonic PV-GS400 DV camera. I usually end up with a damaged
card that I can repair using an external reader on another WIN XP
machine.

Anyone else have similar problems?
