fixing my creative 5.1 system

Hi guys, nothing works yet except I got four of the small speakers working.
Now, do you suppose I could buy a new sound card that would run the old
creative 5.1 sound system and make all five plus the woofer work? Right now
I am running the Creative card. There are no drivers available from Creative
to update etc. I am running XP now and will not give it up for previous
Windows stuff which I consider trash.

Could it just be that I am using old music off the WWW?

Am I supposed to go to another source to stay in touch with you guys? If so
