net send error

For some reason, I can't netsend anybody (going into cmd and saying "net send [computer name] hey, what's goin on"

It keeps popping up and saying some error about the name wasn't recognized. Are there any options in wxp about this, because I"m all frustrated and am not finding anything

If... if you want to do something funny and your at a school or some big network type situation. Do
net send * "message" this will send your message to all computers in the network, even if they are on different domains or workgroups. really quite funny

If you wanna do a really good prank, demote the PDC and format the BDC. That will surely cause a rise.
