I'm getting 22,000 in 3dMark01, and 13,000 in 3dMark03, but my scores in
3dMark05 are 0. Do you suppose it's my drivers or do you think that maybe
it's because I haven't installed 3dMark05 and tried it yet?

Get used to the subject, gents. You'll see it plenty. I just wanted to be
the first. :-)

Well, gents, I was making a joke but I guess it was too subtle. Actually,
I've run 3dMark05 once and my score was just above 4700 3d and 4600 cpu. I
haven't bothered to compare my scores so I don't know if they're good or
bad.

Changed them from what ver.?

That was a great response to your post BTW... I guess there are those who
need a bit more explaining than others...
I admit I used to care alot about my 3dmark scores but after reading related
posts, I have come to see that it is not a "true" assessment of your
computers capabilities. As long as I am happy with how my games are working,
I guess that's all that matters.

Ah, let's see... I was using 61.77s. I just went from W2K to XP Pro and I
think I had just tried the 65.73s (?) to see how they'd do in XP with Doom
3. Then I installed 3dMark05, so I must have had the 65.73's during my first
run. I took a 2nd run with the 66.51s and got 5356 3dMarks. But.... my
frame rates in Doom 3 didn't change a bit.

I agree. I used to be able to draw some performance conclusions with
3dMark01, relating scores to general game performance. Now the games have
changed so much, and 03 (except for the airplanes) and 05 are almost
entirely gpu dependant, that I can't really make any general game
performance conclusions at all.
It's turned into useless information. Better off using a suite like Q3,
NR2003 and Doom 3 to get a sampling of how your cpu and video card are
performing. (I left out Far Cry because the code is so inefficient.)
