When I sync e-mail that has attachments to my PPC, do the attachments
actually transfer to the PPC? For example, my friend sent me an e-mail with
5 jpeg's attached. The total size of the e-mail was about 1MB. In Pocket
Outlook, the synced message shows with a size of 2/985 K. I can't open the
pics he sent on my PPC either. Can someone explain how this works exactly?
Thanks.

That depends how did you set your sync options.
Go to ActiveSync on PC -> Tools -> Options -> open mail options and choose
to sync mail with attachments no matter how big they are, or set some wished
size.

I see. So the 2K is the actual size, but the 985K would be the size had I
included the attachments.
Guess I will leave attachments off.

Thanks
