Hey folks, just wondering what are thoughts about a TCP/IP offload NIC being used for a GAME SERVER? (for example at a LAN party)? I think most games are UDP these days right? What about a TOE NIC at a game company? Thanks in advance, Harlan
For gaming, UDP is the tougher side of things. There are a lot of cards that can handle the TCP side but are terrible with UDP. Got a LAN Party that you want people to know about? Let me know about it.
