I tryed to install Mandrake Linux but didn't get work with 6800 GT.
Setup noticed right card but test screen never succed.

So I skip this and when booted up and logged in by root rights in
console screen I downloaded nVidia drivers from FTP site. I add chmod
a+x command and after that I begin install with su
Nvidiablablalbaa.run -command.

I got this error messages:

"No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; would
you like the installer to attempt to download a kernel interface for
your kernel from the NVIDIA ftp site (ftp://download.nvidia.com)?"

Yes yes..

"No matching precomplited kernel interface was found onthe NVIDIA ftp
site; this means that the installer will need to compile a kernel
interface for your kernel."

Have I wait for year or version 11 when there are included drivers for
6800 GT? I have used early version of Mandrake but then I had ATI Radeon
9600 Pro.

That all sounds ok, what happens then? It should compile and install the
driver. That's what happens on my SuSE 9.1 system. Have you read the
nvidia instructions? They're very detailed and very good.
