Does anyone know how to change the default location for saving files in Internet Explorer? Everytime I save a file I need to search for the location that I want to save it in. This is in most cases the same location!

Maybe you can change this value hacking the registry(I never saw it in the options), but I use IE 5.0/5.5 and it always use the last path were I downloaded.

Hope this helps.

When you click the save as file change the directory before you start downloading it. I usually have a folder on my desktop. IE will remember where you last saved the file and will continue to use that place until you specify otherwise.

If you take a truth and follow it blindly, it will become a Falsehood and you a Fanatic.
