Since I upgraded by iPaq 1940 to ROM v1.10 I have re-installed all me
applications and set everything up again as I used to have it. However now
when I try and connect to my bluetooth mobile phone I can't access anything
on the internet.

The PPC goes through all the motions a connection is established and the
nuber dials fine with no errors. However when I try to navigate to any URL
I'm eventually told : "The page you are looking for cannot be found".

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on what I may have missed?

A couple of questions to help debuging this:

- are you able to ping a host (for example www.wired.com), using VxUtil?
- are you able to retrieve e-mails using the Pocket Outlook Inbox?
- is the connection using the correct APN, one that gives access to http?
Some APN only give access to the operator's WAP gateways

You may want to run the welcome.exe program from your device's \Windows
folder, to re-create some configuration files used by Pocket Internet
Explorer.

Thanks for that. I have got it working again by settng both the drop down
boxes on the Network Management settings screen to 'Bluetooth Settings and
making sure that bluetooth settings doesnt make refrence to a proxy server.

However now I have lost connection to the internet when connected to my
computer via USB (Activesync Passthrough).

I used to have it set up so it could get an intenet connection automaticaaly
from my mobile phone my home desktop (BT) or my work desktop (USB). I'm sure
I didn't find it this hard the first time round?

Any idea how to get it set up to access the internet from all three?
