6600gt AGP video playback

i can't figure out how to enable the hardware accelerated video playback.
when using MPC it still uses around 60% CPU (amd xp2400+) and same with
powerdvd.
whats the trick?

and a side question, using 66.93 i can't get video overlay brightness controls
to work. its very dark and even raising the overlay brightness to 160%
doesn't do anything.

Apparantly it only works with MPEG2.

Try the 67.03 leaked beta drivers.

Isn't there some sort of nvidia dvd utility which they sell at their site
but which comes free with the card?

For the 6800GT, for the 6600GT it's supposed to work with wmv as well.
