Can Not Install Windows XP and Windows 7 in my Compaq Presario SR5710F

I'm having a problem installing either OS in my computer. When I stall them I see a blues screen at one point of the installation. Might this be software/hardware incompatibility issue on my computer's BIOS?

My BIOS is : Phoenix - Awards BIOS V6.00PG

My hard drive is not anymore bootable. I am not able to download the updated drivers for my BIOS.

What should I do?

Do I just need to make changes to my BIOS setup? If so, what should I change?

Probably not.

Had you already attempted to flash (make changes) to your BIOS?

A LiveCD (bootable CD with operating system) is a good place to start.
