6600 256meg vs. 6600GT 128meg?

What's better?
Zipzoomfly has the 6600GT 128 meg for $184.99 after rebate. They also have
the 6600 256meg for $199.00.

I'm guessing that 256 memory is slower (probably DDR with a 500-500
memory clock) than the GT which would make the 128 meg GT, which has
DDR3 memory the better value. For sheer speed and performance go for the GT.

I'm not guessing. The 6600GT 128 meg will smoke the 6600 256meg. If that's
the XFX agp 6600GT, it looks like a good deal.

GDDR3 RAM has a 500 500 Memory clock = 1000 Mhz effectively .. If ur
GFX need if for higher/uncompressed textures, you should be looking at
the higher memory option.
