Hi everyone,

So I'm thinking of taking the plunge into the graphics awe.

Basicaly my question is.

1- What is the better of the Nvidia FX 6600GT AGP available on the market??

2- And is there a 256 MB version available or will there be a 256 MB in the
future?

I also noticed that there are version with memory that runs are 900 Mhz
effective (what does effective mean?).
and some with memory that runs at 1000Mhz.

Does that mean some companies use better memory than others?

Thank you very much for any help you can give me.

Before you get too wrapped up in getting the maximum specs, make sure
that the difference will be meaningful on your system. If cards A and B
both move the bottleneck to your CPU then (other than bragging rights)
it doesn't matter which of the two is theoretically faster.

Thanks for the reply "Rich Web"

Wouldn't a theoretical 100Mhz be faster than?

Not if your cpu is underpowered for the card.
