I have a spare computer around my house and i would like to make a dedicated gaming server for counter strike with it. The thing is i always have hte ip 192.168.1.1 and it wont let anyone connect to it unless i directly take my network cable and hook it up directly to the server which means i wont be able to play on my other computer as well. I would like any information that someone can give me on making a dedicated gaming server while on a linksys router. Thanks.

Another option is to make the gaming server the DMZ host. Which forwards all ports.
Then forward all necessaary ports to your gaming comp.

I aint signing nothing!!!
