I have a new HP 5500. I also have a Microsoft Wireless Network at home.
The HP is seeing the network as evidenced by the green LED flashing on the
HP & the reverse arrow icons showing up on the top of the HP screen. I
think the PC is also seeing the HP - at least I have a new Mobile device
showing up under MY Computer on the PC. What do I need to do to to
configure the HP so that it can access the network & vice versa? I do not
see any where under connections to enter a WAP code or do network
configuration. It provides connectiosn for Modem, VPN and proxy server but
not for a Microsoft wireless network. The documentation that came with the
HP and on the HP is lousy as is the lack of any useful information that I
have been able to find on MS.COM. You would think there would be KB
articles discussing this technology and how to utilize it but I have not
been able to find anything. Can anyone get me started in the right
direction? Thanks in advance.

If you need to manually set all the wireless options you need to turn on
WLAN module, go to Menu Start -> Settings -> Connections tab ->
Connections -> Advanced tab -> Network Card and there you will have all the
options.
