Is the 5700le 256mb much better than fx5500 256mb?

i cant afford any card higher price than these two, but the 5500 is about
15 pounds cheaper.

which shall i get.

and also, are all Agp8x g card compatable with 4x mobo's?

to answer the last question yes it should work fine.
1st one whats your limit? because im seeing 9600's(plain 9600's) at around
the same price as those two the 5500 is a beefed up 5200 and 5700LE is a
castrated 5700, and those 2 cards are the only Nvidia ones offered in that
price range minus the PCI-E 6200. Performance wise the 9600 might actually
be the better of the three
