The board officially supports 4x agp cards but the Intel chipset says it
will recognize 8x agp cards. Intel's site is confusing. It labels the agp
chipset as 4x but in the description states it will support the newer 8x
cards.

Anyone here use an 8x agp card and get actual 8x speed on this board?

Thanks

There are no AGP cards that require more than 4X bandwidth - so it's a
moot point.

Any 8X card will run at full speed in a 4X slot.
