That absolutely did my head in.
Handbrake turns, obviously. If you hod down the handbrake too long, the car
is easier to control but it slows down too much. If you release the
handbrake early, then your speed stays high, but the end of the car
fishtails and it harder to avoid the cones.
It took me... 40 attempts? Just experiment with different turning speeds.

I think this is the one where you have to be careful not to goo too
fast on the return or you'll hit the cones. If you hate this one wait
til later )

Also are you sure you mean 360, not 180? The 360 can be tricky because
on some keyboards it won't register the W, S and A keys. Try the
left-arrow instead of A. Also, you can't save replays of the driving
school so I can't so that.

Having maxed out driving skill really, really helps too as the car has
more noticeably more control.
Using the first person camera view helped me out too.

Burn and Lap that's what u r talking about? I had so much trouble with
this with 3rd person view .... coming out of a tight turn I never get
my heading right ...but with 1st person view, I got silver on the first
try. Just hand-brake and turn when you see the 2nd last cone on your
side. I got silver because I kept hand-brake pressed throughout the
turn. I guess I could do better releasing the handbrake earlier.
