You all probably know i'm a music freak, but i got an obsession for Maynard James' voice so bad its getting to the point i'm starting to not like the guy for having such an awesome voice... anyone else feel this way about a singers voice?

He is one of the fewest guys where i can listen to his voice alone with nothing else and enjoy it (the guy has fukcing awesome vocals). godsmack is one of my fave bands and i love that guys voice too, but it sounds so much less catching alone.

i'm an owl. if it was up to me, i'd hardly see the sun. i don't like the sun nor sunny days.

i love cloudy days. foggy and misty days are my dream come true. my wish is having a house right next to the ocean so i wake up to the sound of the waves early in the morning and walk to the beach while not being able to see more than a yard ahead of me because of the fog. then i feel the waves as they wash the sand on and off my feet.

i'm working very hard to achieve that dream of mine.

i'm thinking it will be somewhere in europe or japan, europe most likely. i love america, but mentally it doesn't work for me, mostly because of how new it is compared.


i'm into authentic stuff... if you know what i mean... old authentic stuff. i want to have a library built in my house with old wood. stained, cherry, with the tall ceiling, the ladders and all. most importantly, i want that old look, but with modern features such as built-in bose stereo system and stuff.

Are you an American? I was in Europe for awhile & didn't think much of it. I do like Mexico though. There's some places down there that I've looked at. Want a sled cottage in the U. P. for the winter & a place in Mexico for the summer.

I can understand that. It takes a certain kind or sort of person to get along down there. They are held back. They should be the same as the US or Canada.

It's a blast looking back on it. When your doing it, it gets hectic though. I'd do it all again though if I had the chance. My plan worked out real well. I'd probably build about the same thing if I did it again though.

Yea, I shot video of the build. I've gone back to that video to find things, like rafters & such running lines & stuff.

I hear ya about Maynard. The man is a badass. I'm a big fan of Cold too. Scooter has a decent voice, but he mostly sings about things that I can more relate too. Earshot sounds a little like Tool/A Perfect Circle. You might give them a quick listen and see if you like. I guess that I haven't been paying attention closely enough; you are from Colorado? I'm not from Colo, but I have lived here for about three years. I got a job here as software designer, so I am milking that. Anyway, I digress. Enjoy your Maynard!
