Well, I just upgraded my old system
It runs great.....
Gigabyte 3D1 2005 Limited Edition.....
New parts
CPU = AMD Athlon64 3500+ [939/Venice Core]
Motherboard = GA-K8NXP-SLI [nForce4 SLI Chipset]
Video Card = GV-3D1 [Dual 6600GT GPU/256megs]
Ram = 2x512megs PQI Turbo PC3200 Dual
Case = AOpen H600 with 450w power
Old parts
Pioneer 108 DVD Burner
Lite-on 52 cd Burner
Floppy
2x80gigs Seagate SATA running on Nvidia raid [Stripe]
1x200gigs Seagate on SATA Nvidia port
2 ATA Lazer Caddy with 4x200 Seagate ATA to used in them
MS KB & Mouse
Logitech Z-680 THX 5.1 Speakers
19" LG Flatron Monitor
This Gigabyte rocks the motherboard has it all
nForce4 chipset
4 Dimms slots
2 PCI-e/16, 2 PCI-e/1, 2 PCI
2 ATA, 8 SATA ports [all raid]

The video card cannot be used in any other motherboard. This will become a
problem when you upgrade and need to unload the card on eBay...
