Windwos 7 ultimate question about keyboard compatability

HI guys,

I'm thinking of upgrading my quasi-netbook, asus n10j from an hdd windows xp SDD to windows 7.
I bought the N10j in Japan (and thereore have the japanese keyboard layout), but the problem is that I now live in UK, so I can't get a Japanese copy of WIndows 7 HP. I have a desktop running a UK version of Win7HP, and this does not, unfortunately support the Japanese keyboard layout.

I was wondering if the Ultimate version had support for foreign keyboard layouts, because the Ultimate version supports different laguages? But Im not sure whether this means it also supports foreign keyboard layouts.
Please help me if you can.

upgrade the win7 version to ultimate using the any-time upgrade and then you can have every language pack available..
