Some time ago (I think when I installed Norton AV) my address book showed up empty! I unistalled NAV and went to address book again and it was still empty, did I lose the data completely or is it in the HD still?? If you know please tell me where I should look for it and under what name(if different), A tech guy told me it's probably there
but I don't know where to look. Help!

From what I can see, the address book is running by a files called WAB.EXE. Unfortunately I could not find a text or other file that it stores information, which leads me to believe the info stores in the EXE file. If this happened awhile ago then I don't think there is much you can do.
Your only hope is that you are running WinME and you still have a restore point from before this happened.
Running the restore will remove any programs you have install.

For exemple, my Outlook adress book is Named Administrator.wab under Win2k. Search for *.wab on your hard drive. You can double-click on it to see what it contain.
