I have a fx5600 running in my home theatre PC. The TV is configured as the
secondary display with a LCD panel as the primary. This arrangement works
fine.

I'm curious if there is a way to have the screensaver kick in for the
primary display but not for the secondary?

I'd like to know about that too. I have a CRT & an LCD and would like to do
the same thing.

You realize, of course, that a screen saver on an LCD panel is of exactly no
benefit? And is of negligible benefit for a modern CRT monitor?

I know, I said screensaver but what I really intend to do is blank the
screen.
