Hey all, I have a linksys WAP11 WAP and I'm using a d-link DWL-650 wifi card and every thing is fine, but when I enable encryption on the WAP to 64 bit or 128 bit and then put the keys into the WiFi card setup in windows xp it will seem to work fine. But oddly after about 3 to 5 min. the connection will be lost. and I have to pop out my card and put it back in and then it will reconnect to the WAP fine. Why is this happening? and is it a card or WAP issue? I am running Windows XP home on a dell laptop and I have firmware version 1.4f and WAP11 model 1.1 someone please help me :)

the firmware is up to 1.4i.1 I had problems with earlier versions on that access point, I'd try updating the firmware first.

awesome. I went nuts for months before a new version came out. Glad my experience could make your "going nuts" time minimal.
