Hello,
It is very possible that this question has already been answered before, but
I haven't find any decent answer so far. That's why I'm asking it again.
I have been using an iPAQ H5550 from some months now and it was working
quite fine with alarms. The deal was: If I turned off the device by pressing
the on/off button, it would not play the alarm at the specified time.
Leaving the iPAQ to go to sleep by itself, the alarms would pop-up fine and
everything was good. I was using the ROM image version 1.00.18 from HP,
after having used 1.00.17 and 1.00.13.
Now, I have upgraded my iPAQ to ROM version 1.10.10 and the alarms don't
sound any more. I have created some appointments, left the iPAQ go to sleep
by itself and at the time of the alarm, the led of the unit started blinking
yellow as expected, but it don't turned on and don't sounded the alarm.
After some searches in the internet, it looks like a registry setting on
Windows Mobile and people says that there is a program that can solve it
(Tweaks 2K2). The problem is that this program pokes in a lot things in the
unit that I'm not willing to change and also it costs well more than Spb
Pocket Plus that I have just purchased. I'm not willing to pay that money
only to fix this problem unless that is my last solution.
Is there someone who could help me solve the problem without installing any
new software? I would really appreciate that.

I've just got a 5550 and cannot watch streaming video, any ideas?
I have both Media player and Realone installed. When I
click on a link in internet explorer, I'm asked where would like to save the
..ram or .asxx file.
How can I get my players to automatically play streams?

Yes, especially when you fill it up with programs that makes start up
time longer.

Theres a registry setting that can solve the problem, but since youre
posting here, changing registry settings proberbly isn´t somthing you
do alot. It can be dangerous and end up with a hard reset.
Theres another program that is free. Check it out, it worked for me
and did nothing it wasn´t supposed to (that i know of anyway).

Actually I'm posting here because I would like to discover which are these
registry settings.
I have performed many searches on the internet and haven't find any concrete
answer, so, if you know which settings are these, please, tell me.
I'm more than willing to change my registry manually rather than installing
new software.
Also, I don't have that many programs installed and that's the main reason
why I don't want to install any other. I have installed just five or six
programs that I really need and that's all.
Thanks.

I am not familiar with these registry settings myself, but I found a
specific guide when I searched the net for explanation of the problem
(before I found the above program). I cant find it right now.
