no picture ati-tvwonder-pci

Picture displays perfect using rg6 coaxial to roof antenna.
No-picture-problem arises, when i connect same antenna to the rf-output of
my rca directv receiver. I also tried passing signal out of directv
receiver, through vcr, and then connecting vcr's rf-output, to tvwonder pci.
I'm using latest drivers/software from ati's website. Directv receiver and
vcr work ok with 32'' anolog crt tv-set..........anyone know why

Correction.........replace word "antenna" on 2nd line with "coaxial wire"
