Hello,

I have a strange problem with my Radeon9700pro, here is an example from
FarCry Demo:

http://q3a.inet.hr/farcry/farcry00001.jpg
http://q3a.inet.hr/farcry/farcry00002.jpg
http://q3a.inet.hr/farcry/farcry00003.jpg

The problem is not visible right away from starting the game, it occours
after cca 10-15min playing.

The same problem was in: Broken Sword 3, The Thing, SW: Jedi Academy and so
on. (this shows that this is not only a farcrydemo problem).

Note: On the same system, before the FIC R9700pro card, I had original ATI
R9700pro witch developed burned RAM problem (3 vertical lines all over
screen) after 9 months usage, never overclocked of course :)

My system is:

CPU AMD Athlon XP 1900+ (never overclocked!)
MBO ASUS A7V333
RAM 2x 256 (DDR 333 Samsung)
GPU FIC Radeon 9700pro, 128mb (never overclocked!) (running at AGP 4x)
SOUND Creative Audigy 2
PSU Enermax EG465P-VE (430 W)
....
WIN XP
DIRECTx 9b
CATALYST 7.991 - 4.3

if you havent stated you were not overclocking i would think it was that.
now you say it starts afrer 10 to 15 min of palying, sounds like its
overheating.
try this get a overclock utility and under clock the video ram and core.
and test again.
