Hi,

Our PPC VNC client software PTvnc2 is now compatible
with Ultr@VNC.
The new version is already available from PocketGear and
has been uploaded to Handango so should be available from
Handango shortly - check that Ultr@vnc compatiblity is
mentioned.
Those of you who already have PTvnc2 should be able to
update to the new version without further charge from the
place you originally bought it.

In case anyone doesn't know, VNC software allows you to
remotely control one system from another.
Our PTvnc2 software is a VNC client tthat allows you to control
a PC running a compatible VNC server (PTeSVNC or Ultr@vnc)
remotely via wireless network or across the internet (PTeSVNC
is supplied with all versions of PTvnc).
It allows keyboard and mouse control including click, double-click
and click-and-drag with left or right mouse button.
You view your PC screen in landscape mode on your PPC and it's
possible to view the PC screen whole or zoomed.

Those of you who don't already have PTvnc2 may prefer PTvncGPRS
which is an improved version of PTvnc2 designed with GPRS use
in mind - Ultr@vnc compatibility in PTvncGPRS will be added soon.
(PTvncGPRS has 3 viewing modes instead of only 2).
There is a trial version of PTvncGPRS available.

bye
