Sounds to me like you might have a DOA.... Unless you're not connecting the
monitor properly, or making sure the key is seated all the way down and the
back of the card is locked?

I had the same problem, but with the saphire 9600 xt. I called Saphire and
after some troubleshooting they told me the card was defective. Then I
called the vendor (Allstarshop.com) and told them what was what. I sent the
card back to them and I should get a fully tested replacement by thursday.
Call Saphire tech support.
