I have an OpenGL based application that plays animation on a secondary
monitor (or TV out), configured as an extended desktop. While it works
fine on my desktop (nVidia GF based display card), it just displays a
blank screen on my Sony VAIO with Mobile Radeon 7500.

I have tried to tweak OpenGL settings in graphic adapter advanced
property settings, but no luck. When I disable hardware acceleration,
the application starts working properly, but then it is far too slow to
be useful.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Just an update to the message below:

I was playing around for a while longer and found that when I force
Z-buffer to 16 bit in OpenGL settings, the application starts working
fine, but it becomes even slower than with hardware acceleration turned
off. Perhaps that may be a clue of what the problem is...
