im using ad-aware se, when it scans there are usually 36 process runnig. i
assume this is programs. but there is always 1250-1300 process modules, wht
is a process module? if anyone can answer this, assume i am stupid and
explain it in very little words. thx, jay

Paraphrased from AdAware's Help file (Performing System Scan section):

Running processes are loaded into memory and active.

Process modules are any processes scanned by AdAware - running or not. A
process can have one or more files associated with it.
