I've had fairly consistent performance from my team except for two weeks ago, when I had <30 points. I made some changes this week that will hopefully produce some results. Where's Jef anyway? I figured he'd be on here first thing trumpeting the Bears win....
I've been fairly consistent on performance from my team as well, except for last week, when I had >30 pts. He's probably still passed out in a ditch somewhere from celebrating. I predict he'll get to do that a couple more times this year.
I thought the Cowboys @ Giants MNF game a couple weeks ago was one of the best ever, until this Colts @ Bucs game. It was incredible.
I nearly gave up at half time. Who the hell could have imagined they'd overcome a 21 point defecit and score 4 TDs in the 4th quarter! That was AWESOME!

You know, I just found out that the news/notes are useless for defensive players. My Tampa Bay DB, Brian Kelly, left the game with a strained pectoral. There is no news of it and not even a D, P, or Q to let me know if I should think about starting him or replacing him. Now should I go to replace him I'll just be wondering if the D guy I'm picking up is healthy or not.
I've managed to climb and stay a little ways out of the basement. For now. Got several guys inactive for the coming week's games. Going to have to leave spot(s) open.
(Hey Grub, you'd asked me a while back which of our games would be worth watching, and mentioned the Tennessee game. Were ya able to watch it last Saturday?)
I;ve been mostly doing homework on the weekends nowadays...GOing to school and working leaves me with very little 'football' time. SO I didn't get to watch it. THe only sports game I make time for is the weekly Bills game...sigh....
Dang, man, it was AWESOME! We came out and punched #7 Tennessee right in the mouth! Was loud as hell in there. I yelled so much, my voice just now got back to 100% today.
Gotta play Arkansas Saturday, though, and they're real good.
Anybody else read TMQ on ESPN page 2? He was bitching about the way the NFL broadcasts their games (which I can agree with for a large part), but all those matchups he was yelling about I had the option to watch. That's why people should avoid big cities. For those of you that call yourselves football fans but have no idea what I'm talking about <A HREF="http:// msn.espn.go.com/page2/s/tmq/031007.html " target="_new">http:// msn.espn.go.com/page2/s/tmq/031007.html </A>
ah, there was a space between the slash and the m. <A HREF="http://msn.espn.go.com/page2/s/tmq/031007.html" target="_new">http://msn.espn.go.com/page2/s/tmq/031007.html</A> Should work now.
Lol, I've been setting up networks at the school and my friend's houses..even my house! 192.168.0.1- I dream about that number now gah
I'd say it's time to go camping too, but I really wish it'd get colder cause it's soo much more fun O, btw, how was the tent?
The tent was Awesome!!! We had room to spare for a family of fivethe vestibule was convenient, and the quality was top knotch. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I got the <A HREF="http://www.kelty.com/Kelty/index.cfm?fuseaction=Tents.Home" target="_new">http://www.kelty.com/Kelty/index.cfm?fuseaction=Tents.Home</A> Kelty Mantra 5. A little pricey, but worth the extra cash.
Well, I have been around, but my Grandmother passed away early Monday morning, so things haven't been quite the same. Not that I want to make it into a big deal, and I definately don't want a Melb / Scamtron thing again, but I was just not really in the mood to post a whole lot. Plus, I wasn't at work, and I hate dial-up. I was, however, at the Cubs - Marlins game Tuesday night. We tried to convince my grandpa to go to get his mind off everything for a while, but he wouldn't go. ANyway, even though we lost, that game was amazing!!! I was completely spent when it finally ended in the 11th inning... And Sosa's homer to tie the game in the bottom of the 9th with two outs, WOW, place nearly blew up! Anyway, I have been around, watchnig.
Dude, game was amazing... It was such a shame that we lost. Wow dude, screaming and high-fives and hugs and chanting and yelling and holy sh!t was it loud!! It was amazing to be there!!

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandma. My Grandmother died the same week that the whole Scam/Melb thing started, and I didn't say anything about it for the same reason. It was a pretty sad time. I know what you mean about your grandpa too. We've been trying to get him to do things with us, but he mostly wants to stay home...he visits grandma's grave every day, though. I think we've got him convinced to go with us to Texas for Christmas. It sucks losing someone you love...It seems like I lose Grandma a piece at a time. I know she's not around, but I keep expecting to see her at different family functions. We're really going to miss her at christmas time....*sigh*...I try not to think about it too much. I have been trying to honor her memory in my own small ways...doing things that I know she'd be pround of...Dang I haven't talked to anybody about this yet...sorry to unload.
Dude, totally cool... I was fairly lucky because my grandma had been in a home for a while. It was just for recovery, but we were all worried about what Grandpa was going to do when she came home. The dude is 92, and he still drives, but he wouldn't be able to take care of a 92 year old woman 24/7. Basically, even though she had been getting stronger, we all knew it was a matter of time, and while it wasn't really a surprise, it was kind of unexpected that it was so soon... But fortunately, it is kind of a relief to many of the family members. We all had a few months to prepare ourselves to the fact that it was going to happen sooner than later. It just hasn't fully hit me yet. Maybe tomorrow during the wake, but we will see... Anyway, it is Friday, the Cubs are playing tonight, Wood is pitching, so we will win, and no more depressing crap today!! <font color=red><b>BECAUSE I SAID SO, DAMNIT!! </b></font color=red>
