I am trying to use a bluetooth mobile as a gsm modem for a java app running
on an IPAQ 5450. I am not having much success. Trying to use RXTX java comm
api I can see a number of ports (COM1:,COM3:,COM5:,COM6:). The bluetooth
settings tell me that COM5: is serial incomming port and COM8: is serial
output. However I can not detect a COM8: port.
Am I going about things the right way?
Has anyone tried anything similar with success?
Please help.

Thanks,
Derek
