I ended up having to re-install windows XP as no prgrams would run. I had
encrypted some files, and was able to do a restore, but of course cannot
access them as the key is different now. I can actually see all the files and
directories though. I just receive a message telling me I don't have access
privleges.

I do have a backup of the my Documents and Settings folder with the correct
keys in it, but for some reason I cannot access it. I can see everything that
was backed up, right down to the files. It tells me "The backup file could
not be found or is not the file that was requested.". It points to another
location, where the backup was before (I had to move it to a new location as
the old drive needed cleaning). It gives me the option to select the new
location of the backup file, but after I do so, it still gives me the same
error. Any ideas?
