Asus WL500g ftp server problem

I have just bought a WL500g, and want to set up a ftp server.
I can run the server with no problem without the router.
Im not very familiar with routers, so please help.

-I use a pppoe connection with dynamic IP
-I have disabled the firewall temporarly without results
-I use NAT virtual server with local IP adress for my computer, port 20:21
TCP
I have tried with and without virtual DMZ, where i put in local IP adress
for my computer.

Have I forgotten something?
