Getting License Key from XP

I have been given the task of trying to match a big box of OEM software to
the PC's they are installed on. I am not looking forward to crawling under
desks to check the license key on 100+ Dell PC's and trying to read the
little type. Is there some way I can write a script to retrieve the license
key from each PC on the domain? And would that work to get the Office key
also?

Thank You in Advance

John;
Go here:
http://www.webtree.ca/windowsxp/repair_xp.htm
Near the bottom, View Product Key XP
This also works with Office XP and earlier.

If you have a need to find out a lot more than just the Windows XP keys, get
hold of Belarc Adviser. www.belarc.com

This will provide a full Hardware and Software Audit in an HTML file.

Run this on every PC and then you can take all the information from each PC
and copy it into Excel or create an Access Database. This should also help
to identify if more than one user is registered against the same Product Key
and save your company embarassment where staff have been illegally loading up
software.
